"We Will Rise Foundation", in association with Miteree Service Committee Pokhara Hong Kong is going to organize an event named“Hike for Nepal in Hong Kong”on 24th July 2016 in Hong Kong. The Hike will start from Central Hong Kong, the business zone of international town Hong Kong and will conclude at Repulse Bay by going through Wan Chai Gap and Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Park. Foreign mountaineers including locals will be participating for the Hike.
In addition, thee are also going to premiere the video documentary“Journey to the top of the world”for the first time in Hong Kong on 25th July 2016.
Main Objective of this event is to promote Nepal tourism worldwide and spread the message that Nepal is Safe to travel. This is going to be the first biggest international event aftermath of earthquake meant for promoting tourism. We hope that this event would help to jack up tourism activities.
Mr. Phurba Tenjing Sherpa, 10th times Mt. Everest summiteer with world record is going to be “Guest of Honor” for this event. Beside this, Mr. Thaneswar Guragai who has Guinness Records in 12 different genres will also be participating in the hiking and is expected to try to set one more world record in Hong Kong too.
